Welfare Activities Done by Scan Steels Limited
Drinking Water
Odisha faces hard hitting summer during April, May and June every year. We installed a water cooler cum water filter for our workers. The installed water cooler-cum-filter supplies both normal and cold water to fulfill people’s various needs. Managing the drinking water shortage in our industry remains the prime focus of Scan Steels Limited’s social responsibility division and the problem has been solved effectively.
Creche Room
Scan Steels Limited provides a crèche room, to the lady workers for their infants between the age group of 90 days to 6 years. We believe that taking care of the children while their mothers (lady labors) are at work is our duty. Thus, we developed this crèche room inside our premises to offer a safe place for their children in their absence.
World Earth Day
On World Earth Day, Scan Steels Limited set a benchmark for all industries by initiating the “Plant More Trees” activity inside the company. We encourage everyone to do so which will deliver a green planet to our next generation. Through this initiation, we put emphasis on adopting eco-friendly practices, protecting the environment and implementing sustainability measures to grow plantation. We believe that we create an eco-friendly industrial landscape that describes sustainable manufacturing as the process of producing manufactured goods through the use of eco-friendly practices and materials that aim to reduce harmful impacts to the environment while conserving energy and protecting natural resources.
